TEACHING

Michael has taught and guest lectured at the University of Washington (UW), Washington State University (WSU), Seattle University, Tel Hai College in Israel, and other educational institutions. He is a Distinguished Practitioner at UW's Evans School of Public Policy and Governance; Adjunct Associate Professor at WSU Extension; and Adjunct Professor at Seattle University’s Institute of Public Service. He was Visiting Faculty at the University of Wyoming's Ruckelshaus Institute in 2018-19, and was selected by the US Department of State to serve on the Fulbright Specialist Roster in 2019, being awarded a Fulbright Specialist grant to guest lecture and advise on collaborative governance at Tel Hai College and elsewhere in Israel in 2022.

 

Michael is passionate about teaching and open to discussing additional in-person or remote opportunities to provide instruction to the next generation of collaborative leaders. Courses Michael has taught include:
